I have many spare parts accumulated of the years too numerous to list.
For many years this was my daily driver and I have been a NASCAR fan since I was a teenager and thought I would never sell this car. Well, I have had over 30 years of fun and I am ready to pass the car on to another owner who loves the car. I am a trained mechanic but my profession was as a software engineer. I enjoyed working on cars in my youth and I performed all of the maintenance and many of repairs over the years. I believed in frequent oil and filter changes and did so every 2,000 miles all the 30+ years.
The car is one of two created for the race and is documented by a letter I received from Daytona International Speedway. I have the window sticker as well as many collectibles that go along with the car. The car has 202k miles with all but the first 13K miles logged by me, I did use it as a daily driver. I was a trained mechanic and performed most a the few mechanical issues that occurred along the way. I am a strict believer following a maintenance schedule and changing the oil and filter every 2k miles and it shows when you exam the top of the head through the oil fill in the rocker cover. I have GM Goodwrench lifetime guaranties on the water pump and the opti spark. The AC developed a hole in the aluminum line that is no longer made and I had a new one custom made that needs to be installed. The AC compressor was replaced in 2016.
The pace car has never been in a accident and it runs runs great, time has caught up with the paint and I am no body or paint man. Several nagging items mechanically need to be done and I have recently radically downside my home and garage area, and time has caught up with me I just don't care to chase the little things that are left to do. I have parts for much of it just waiting but I have other things to do now. The parts, the collectibles from the Winston Cup era all go with the car. As you can see from the side of the car the race was on July 3, 1993 back when the race was always held on a weekend around the 4th of July. If you search the race on youtube you can see this car, 1 of 2 built for the race, at the start leading the pack. There we NO factory reproductions or parade cars made for the race.
