Pump gas engine was built for hardcore street use. It is set up to clear a stock flat hood in a Camaro, Nova or Chevelle. Very little run time. Built with best of the best components (basically, no expense spared). Built with and includes the following:
Dart 4.6-inch bore block (CNC machined), fully counterweighted Molnar 4.25-inch stroke crank, Molnar 6.385-inch H-beam connecting rods, Mahle pistons (over all CR is just under 11:1), Mahle metric rings, Mahle .990 pins, King Bearings, Brodix 345 cc BB3-Xtra heads, PAC 1.625 inch valve springs, titanium retainers, Brodix dual plane intake, Holley Ultra XP carburetor, Jesel 0.903-inch diameter (426 Hemi size) mechanical roller lifters, Bullet 0.765-inch lift custom mechanical roller cam, roller timing chain, Trend double tapered pushrods, Jesel steel shaft rockers, Stef's aluminum oil pan, Melling billet oil pump with bottom pickup, ATI Super Damper, ARP fasteners throughout + more.
The engine is basically new and only has a couple of hours of setup time. Never on a dyno but extremely strong and not for the faint of heart . Can be heard running in the car. I also have a “mild” driving video I can share. Reason for sale? I’m going in a different direction with the car.
Water pump, pulleys, alternator brackets, fuel lines, fuel pressure regulator, distributor, ignition wires shown in the photos do not come with the engine. Will be shipped with new B&B engine cradle.
I also have a “matching” forward pattern ATI TH400 available at extra cost (forward pattern selected because it has engine braking for the street). HD throughout. Includes matching ATI 10-inch Treemaster converter and 168 tooth ATI flexplate. Transmission and converter were custom built for this engine.
In addition, I have a set of 2.25-inch primary X 4-inch collector Lemons’ headers for the engine (slip together set). Headers have been Ceracoted (black). Fit 1967-1969 Camaro and 1968-74 Nova. Same run time as the engine. Available at extra cost.
