For sale: 555 BBC engine with a bore of 4.56 and a stroke of 4.25, originally built by Hairy Nut Customs with approximately 100 hours. It was recently sent back to HNC for a complete inspection, re-tune on the dyno, and addition of a 4” intercooler. The engine, which has zero hours since the freshen-up, made 916 hp on pump gas at 6000 RPM and 1098 hp at 7000 RPM (not recommended to run this high). Features include a Dart Block with Splayed Mains, Callies Crank, Oliver Rods, JE Flat Top Pistons, Total Seal Rings, Isky Billet Cam, Cloyes Double Roller Timing Chain and Cover, High Volume Melling’s Pump, Large Capacity Oil and PS Cooler, Canton 12 Qt Oil Pan, AFR 357 Heads (Ported), T&D Shaft Rockers, Crane Hydraulic Lifters, Mooneyham 10-71 Blower with two referenced 850 Holleys, MSD Box (new in box), MSD Distributor, Taylor Wires, Aeromotive Fuel System, AN hoses, custom painted valve covers, flame arrestor, and a 4” polished intercooler.
