This is a high-quality SB2.2 top-end and short-block package, ideal for serious racing applications.
The cylinder heads are dated June 2004 and feature 2.180” intake valves (7mm stems) and 1.600” exhaust valves (7mm stems). Intake ports measure approximately 2.120” x 1.600”. The valve seats have been professionally machined with 50-degree intake and 55-degree exhaust angles. The valves will require refacing prior to use. Included is a complete set of valve springs. The setup utilizes Jesel 1.90 ratio rocker arms and comes with the hardware needed to mount the stands to the heads; however, only half of the rocker stand bolts are included. Cast aluminum valve covers with integrated oilers are also part of the package, along with the intake manifold and valley tray. Casting numbers are available in the provided images.
The block is an SB2.2 unit with a 4.182” bore, equipped with 55mm roller cam bearings and bushed lifter bores designed for .875” lifters.
The rotating assembly includes a Bryant crankshaft with a 3.250” stroke, 2.300” main journals, and 1.850” rod journals. It is paired with Lentz 6.125” connecting rods, pins, and a new set of JE forged pistons.
