World Products has developed a refined version of its popular Small Block Chevy block, the MOTOWN II Block
The Oil System features an integral boss for front and rear oil feeds. The rear main cap has provisions for a wet sump oil pump. The valley has cross-feed lines between left and right lifter oil galleys.
Like all World blocks and heads, the MOTOWN II is 100% American made.
This is the strongest Small Block Chevy Block with new Higher Strength Hi-Nickel cast iron and increased main web thickness and front main & cover area.
NEW DESIGN Motown III blocks features include a nominally .700 thick deck for Increased Strength in Power Adder applications, and also allowing the deck to be cut to 8.800in. The block is machined to accept either a standard SBC camshaft or late model step nose style cams. Cast in hone relief at the bottom of the cylinders simplifies the machining process.
