Car handles like a go kart and it's fun to drive. It's dependable with not mechanical issues, it get around 20 mpg at highway speeds and it fun. I've had two opportunities to drive it around the Texas Motor Speedway and was a blast even if they wouldn't let me pass anyone or go as fast as I wanted. I've not raced or abused it in anyway, I've never done burn outs or anything stupid as I am past all of that being in my 70's now. I am selling it as I feel like it's time to get ride of my toys and consecrate on getting all my affairs in order. This car was built by a Professional Shop with a price tag to match. The Mustang had a wheelbase 9" shorter than the Torino so it had to be stretched to match up. The Torino was tore down to a shell and then fitted to the stretched Mustang body assembly. To say the least it was a major undertaking and it was a well do job. I've put over 7,000 miles on the build and I've added my on modifications and some improvements as well. It would cost over 100K to have this car professionally built today. we all know paint jobs alone run $12 to $20K and a build would take a year to get done. I've been doing this stuff all my life, building, racing and buying and selling cars. And it's ALWAYS better & cheaper to buy them done or close to it than to build it from scratch. I am wanting to sell, I've been offered new car or trucks for it in the past and some offered money but at that time I wasn't ready to consider selling. So, I am now willing to sell it, not give it away but not asking the moon for it either. I am not sure how flexible I can be as I've started out lower than I probably should of, but I really want to sell. No games car is for sale Cash or Wire Transfer only, you can fly in and drive it home anywhere in the Continental US. I have more photos and videos of the car. The underneath has a matching Red Rhino Bed Liner coating as well. Sound deadening in headliner and floor pans as well. NO RUST This car has won a Boat Load of Trophies and really draws a crowd, make it a 30 ordeal just to get fuel.
