MASS. Striped BASS Assoc. 2007 Annual Sport Fishing Expo Is On For This Weekend At Gillette Stadium : RacingJunk News

FOXBOROUGH, MA. Sport fishing enthusiasts will get their season started off this weekend, Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18 at Gillette Stadium with the MA Striped Bass Assoc. 2007 MSBA Sport Fishing Expo. The show is geared to sports men and woman who begin their favorite pastime in the early Spring and end it in the season in late Fall in New England. Some 100 exhibitors will be on hand to meet with fishing fans that include purveyors of boats, kayaks, fly fishing gear as well as heavy tackle for stripers, cod, tuna, flounder and sharks, among several others types of equipment.

Some of the featured attractions include; MSBA Seminar Theatre, On The Water Theater, national celebrity fisherman, fishing TV personalities, expert local fishermen, MSBA Fishing Museum, Charter Captains, Custom Plug Builders, National factory reps displaying their latest gear plus retail sales deals and a host of other opportunities for fishing enthusiasts.

Attendees will also be able to join the MASS Striped Bass Assn.(MSBA) at the Expo and will automatically entered in a free charter raffle each day of the Expo. There will also be door prizes all day, each day of the show.

This Saturday, March 17 the hours are from 10 a.m-7 p.m. while Sunday offers the show opening at 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. Adult ticket prices are $15 each while children under 14 and under are $5. There's also free parking for this show at Gillette Stadium. The show sponsors include Fox Sports New England and 89 AM/1400 AM ESPN Radio Boston.
