Extraordinarily simple to use, just push the "Start Tree" button, make a full-throttle 1/4-mile run, and your time slip (with reaction time, 60-foot, 1/8-mile, and 1/4-mile e.t.s and speeds) pops up on the screen. Push "Road Test" and acceleration times from zero to 10, 20, 30 mph...all the way ‘till you take your foot out of it… appear on the screen. Push "Dynamometer" and the horsepower and torque numbers appear, at both the driving wheels and the engine, along with plotted curves. Push "Data Acquisition" and, spark advance, plus everything else you want and need to know during a dyno or drag strip test appears quickly on the screen. And all you did was start the tree and make a run. Everything you just saw on the screen is saved automatically, and later (if you choose) you can transfer all the runs and data to your personal computer to compare tests or make color printouts of dyno curves and power and torque values every 250 R.P.M.
A blue, high resolution, 3" x 4" touch screen provides an easy-to-navigate, user-friendly interface. A single button turns the HyperPAC "on" and "off," and the menu-driven programs are all that's required to operate the system. It is so simple to use that an instruction manual is not needed, because each display has its own "HELP" screen for easy access to any answers necessary. Help screens loaded with the necessary information are quickly available at the touch of a button from the HyperPAC touch screen.
