ANNUAL ICEBREAKER PRIZE PACKAGE GIVEAWAY
March 18, Long Beach, NY--- Long Island Motorsports News announced its Annual IceBreaker Giveaway. Once again, instead of just giving away a pair of tickets, this years’ giveaway will be also have the winners being given a hotel room for the weekend at Holiday Inn Express in Milford, MA.
The Annual Prize Package Giveaway will consist of a pair of tickets for the April 8th and 9th race weekend at Thompson International Speedway, and two nights lodging at the Holiday Inn Express with Continental breakfast in Milford, MA.
This race is the initial race of the 2006 season for the Whelen Modified Tour. Whelen took over the sponsorship of the former Featherlite Modified Series in 2005. Tony Hirschman will attempt to defend his championships of the 2004 and 2005 season, as Ted Christopher vies to take his first-ever Tour title. Last season’s final race once again saw the title fight come down to the final race, as both Christopher and Hirschman fought it out at the finale at Thompson Speedway.

With over 100,000 hits on our website in 2005, it gives us a great way to serve and give back people that log on.

This is also the second year that the Holiday Inn Express in Milford (MA) has given us accommodations to give away for our contests at Thompson. We very much appreciate the support that Donna Libby at Holiday Inn Express has given us.”
Thompson International Speedway (www.ThompsonSpeedway.com) has been a mainstay of Modified racing for decades, and many former and current top-tier drivers of the NASCAR Racing Series have called the fan-friendly Thompson their home track.
