THE DAVIDSON COMPANY CONTINUES CONTINGENCY PROGRAM SPONSORSHIP AT STAFFORD

(Stafford Springs, CT)---Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that The
Davidson Company has renewed their committment to the Stafford Motor
Speedway family of Contingency Program sponsors. The Davidson Company will
pay a $150 bonus to each SK Modified® feature event winner.
“We know the teams that race at Stafford don’t have a lot of money, and
offering the contingency bonus is our family’s way of being able to help
teams out with some extra money each week,” said Tom Rowe, Vice President of
The Davidson Company. “Racing at Stafford means a lot to our family, and we
’re happy to be able to give something back to help the racing at Stafford
stay strong and competitive.”
In addition to their SK Modified® contingency program sponsorship, The
Davidson Company’s involvement at Stafford Motor Speedway has evolved into a
family that includes four teams. The Davidson Company both owns and
sponsors the SK Modified® cars of Jeff Malave and Woody Pitkat and the Late
Model car driven by Michael Bennett. The Davidson Company is also the
primary sponsor of the Kretschman Motorsports owned Late Model entry that
will be driven this season by Pitkat.
“From Day one when we first got involved with racing our goal was to help
bring friends and family together through racing,” said Rowe. ”As we’ve
grown as a company through the years, we’ve brought more and more people
together. This season, we’ll be involved with four teams. We own and
sponsor the number 3 and 52 SK and number 64 Late Model cars, and we sponsor
the number 48 Late Model team. TSI Harley Davidson will also be a primary
sponsor on each car, and we’ll be working together with them this season,
which adds to the Davidson Family.”
